What is Vibe Omix?

Vibe Omix is a music streaming web app and Android app. You can search for songs, singers and albums, play music with synced lyrics, save songs you like, build playlists, and chat or call friends while you listen.

Is Vibe Omix free?

Yes. Listening is free and supported by short advertisements. If you would rather listen without ads you can buy a Premium pass; the current plans and prices are shown on the Upgrade page.

Do I need an account?

You can browse what is popular and search the catalogue without an account. To play music, like songs, create playlists, send messages or make calls you need a free account, which takes a username, a phone number and a password.

Why does Vibe Omix ask for my phone number?

Your phone number keeps accounts unique (one account per number), lets our support team help you recover your account, and links a Premium purchase to the right account. It is not shown on your profile or to other users. The Privacy Policy lists everything we store and why.

Is there a Vibe Omix app for Android?

Yes. You can download the official Android app (APK) from the Download app page. Android may ask you to allow installation from your browser when the download finishes.

Where does the music come from?

Songs are played through YouTube's embedded player, and song details, artwork and lyrics are looked up from public music services. Vibe Omix does not host or sell the recordings themselves.

How do I make a playlist or bring one over from Spotify?

Open Library and choose New Playlist, or press the + button next to any song. To copy a playlist from Spotify, paste its link into the search box on Discover and follow the steps; Vibe Omix reads the song titles and artists and rebuilds the playlist for you.

Are private playlists hidden from other people?

Marking a playlist Private keeps it out of search results. Playlists you create are still listed on your profile, so people who open your profile can see them.

How do I share a song?

Every song has its own web address. Open a song and copy the address from your browser, or use the share option in the player; anyone who opens the link lands on that song.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings, choose Delete account and confirm with your password. Your profile, playlists, follows and the messages you sent and received are erased straight away.

How do I report a problem or contact Vibe Omix?

Signed-in users can use Settings → Report a Problem. You can also email us at omixmotel@gmail.com.
